Steven Chan, Baggage Service Officer

I have been with Jardine Aviation Services for a year as a Baggage Service Officer. We help passengers find their lost items every day. Once there was a Taiwanese passenger who lost his luggage that included a commemorative item. Finally, we discovered that another customer had picked up his luggage by mistake and so were quickly able to return his lost bags and help him continue his trip without worry.

Baggage Service Officers meet up customers from different countries. I once helped a passenger from the Middle East who hardly spoke any English. It’s always a challenge but can definitely improve your interpersonal and language skills.
